Honestly, my time there was PERFECT. The property is clean, attractive and very well maintained. I just needed an escape from the kids and dog at home to get some work done - and this was my Shangri-la!! The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was perfect. The price made it possible. I've just booked 2 more nights!!!

My wife and I decided to come here for a night away together. The service was amazing.. They accommodated anything we needed or wanted. Room was clean and presentable! We got the room package with the 3 course dinning in meal, with Miles excuse our spelling of the mans name as our Chef. He was soo kind!! The appetizer was delicious, and the main course meal was exquisite! For dessert we had the cheese cake, of course it was yummy.. who doesn't love cheese cake. And to top it off we had a bottle of wine. With Covid, they are sticking to health and safety regulations, and did whatever they could to make us feel comfortable. We also had the courtyard where we could move outside, sit and eat, or have a drinks, and enjoy the night together. Nice job! Thank you for the great night!

Attended a 3 day conference here. Conference facilities excellent and the food amazing! Hats off to the chef. Nice pool. My favourite feature was the sliding doors from the groundfloor room to the garden patio complete with tables and chairs to watch the ducklings! I only wish the room had a desk. The staff at the Inn were extremely helpful.

My husband and I had our wedding reception there! The staff set up the room we reserved beautifully!!! Service was excellent and the food was delicious. We had one guest that was gluten free diet and they brought out a seperate sandwich just for her and the soup and salad dressing was gluten free! We also had a room and it was fantastic! Clean and spacious. If there was anything we needed all we had to do was ask. Super friendly staff. My guests loved it as well.

We stayed at the Inn of Waterloo for one night. It met and exceeded all expectations and was a great price as well. The hotel is very large which is a good thing-- they use the space well (it is not a 30 story skyscraper). There are several sitting areas and even a outdoor courtyard in the interior of the building.
Nice rooms- on the main floor has a walkout patio/sliding door. Well appointed with modern bathroom/shower. Very comfortable beds and the room had a mini fridge. Lots of little details (like the closet doors have an automatic light that comes on when you open them).
Great location-- just a few blocks from Waterloo and Wilfred Laurier. It is also close to St. Jacob's (a quaint little town with one of the best farmer's markets in the world).
Great pool- with a fitness room, whirlpool/spa and a sauna with showers. The pool deck is giant with beautiful wrought iron entry gates.
Phenomenal breakfast- everything you could want in a self- serve hotel breakfast- waffles, eggs, sausage, etc. The eating space is really outstanding- instead of being crammed into a tiny room off the lobby where all of the tables are taken-- this breakfast is presented in a beautiful expansive dining hall/restaurant. Plenty of space and really nice atmosphere.
In summary- a great hotel in a great location for a great price that wasn't a "chain". You really can't go wrong!!
